March 2, 2017 - SolarCity (NASDAQ:SCTY) reported a 2016 net profit attributed to the parent of USD 238.8 million (EUR 226.5m) and said its solar manufacturing facility in Buffalo may be bigger than 1 GW.

The US solar installer saw its revenues jump by 83% last year. Revenue from sales of solar energy systems and components nearly trebled to USD 308 million, up from USD 106.1 million in 2015 and USD 81.4 million in 2014. In addition, revenue from operating leases and solar energy systems incentives was up by 44% on the year to USD 128.8 million."
