What a bunch of morons... Seriously? You call the plane Yak??? Like yuck? Great marketing... I thought the craze with ill-formed words stopped with Superject. Please understand - Russian market is small and those old names only remind of bad Soviet quality and/or cold war everywhere else in the world. Stop the madness and hire a PR firm to come up with branding or you'll never be able to break even on any of the aviation projects.
Oh my god! Do you know the Yoko Ono's first name? Do you really think that her name makes her inappropriate for communication? Do you know the Ross Yockey's family name? Do you really think that his name makes him a less popular author? Do you know that ASSociatet Press is the one of the world's most prominent news agencies? Would you just image how many respectful and commercially successfull organisations in the world are containing "ass" syllables in their names and abbreviations? So, why do you think that such a trifle as a similar pronounciation can affecting customers so much?
